2 Corinthians 5:17
Our mission is to partner with Christ's transformative love and power in the nation of Tanzania. We believe we are called to bring the ministry of reconciliation, restoration, and transformation to the lost, broken, and outcasts of society.
Sarah and Denny have been married for 10 years and have two beautiful children, Emmie (5yr) and Malachi (2yr). Together, as a family, they are stepping into the story God is writing in the Nation of Tanzania.
Denny and Sarah started pursuing missions in East Africa in 2010. They didn’t know each other back then but their love and passion for Jesus and the African nations are what eventually drew them together. They met in 2012 and got engaged in Uganda the following year. It is undeniable that Africa has been woven into the tapestry of their story.
In 2017 the Reeds moved to Tanzania where they were directors of a private international school. After a year on the mission field, they moved back to the States with no plans of returning. But over the last six years, the dream of doing missions in Tanzania began awakening in their hearts yet again.
Together they are starting Kipepeo Ministries. They are inspired by the metamorphic journey a caterpillar endures to become a butterfly; and feel it is a profound symbolism to Christ’s transformative love and power. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” 2 Corinthians 5:17 Their heartbeat and mission is to bring the ministry of reconciliation, restoration, and transformation to the lost, broken, and outcasts of society. More specifically, they feel called to the men on the streets. Unfortunately, many of them are struggling with substance abuse and addiction. But the Reed family believes in them and desires to see their lives transformed by the healing power of Jesus. Nothing is impossible! Mungu Ibariki Tanzania. 🇹🇿🦋
